Session theme is “Yoga Nidra”

My Calm Mind Meditation follows a theme which covers a breath technique, a meditation skill, handout, your questions, and then we put it all together for that session.

Approximately 90 minutes for the workshop.

Introducing The NEW ‘WOW’ workout!!

Workout Of the Week

Every Monday we will be sending out a week long workout that can be altered through out the week for variety & intensity.
Like our Facebook page to get daily updates on the ‘W O W’ workout and Daily workouts as well!!

Sit ups
Reverse Lunge w a knee lift twist- Right then Left
Seated Twists
Supermans
Low to High – take a weight from your ankle to above the opposite shoulder
Canon ball Crunch – laying face up. Head, legs and feet lifted slightly. Bring knees and elbows to touch then open back up
Plate Twists – in a low squat feet wide. Plate held out in front. Core engaged. Twists
Military March – Standing strong. Take Left arm and reach out to grab a straight Right leg. or as straight as you can get it…. ; )

Today use a Tabata Timer from the app store and group the moves in 2s. So you’ll do the first 2 moves together and then the next 2 etc.
The timer is set up w a working phase of 20 seconds of work followed by a 10 second break. So it will work like this:

Do the Sit ups for 20 seconds; you’ll have 10 seconds to transition to the Reverse lunge knee lift w a twist on the Right leg. Then back to the Sit ups. Then Reverse lunge w a knee lift twist on the Left!! Continue with all moves as above!

Beginner Yoga Class starting February 5th!!! Since you all LOVED Steph so much, she will be teaching a beginner level class on Thursday’s starting in February.
We have a 5 class pass for $60 or a drop in fee of $14 per class. The 5 pass class card will cover the first 5 week session Steph is offering.

If you are a current student you may use your current class cards as well. If you are new, and want to participate in other classes you can also purchase a longer class card. All these cards are by the month or 2 months.

Meditation presenter Mariangela Mancuso ERYT, CPT, PMA-CPT, has helped manage a variety of health concerns using techniques such as meditation. She unravels the meditation practice with a contemporary approach that blends with today’s science about the process.


 

 Meditation Classes are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 4:00 pm.

 


 

What we do:
Each Session follows a theme which covers a breath technique, a meditation skill, handout, your questions, and about 45 minutes of putting it all together working on our skill for that session.

What to bring:
Blanket (it can be chilly while resting), Pillow to sit on if resting to place under the head or knees for comfort; Suggest: Eye mask (or similar item) that will gently cover the eyes from light.
